A glycoside from the stem of Entada phaseoloides (Linn.) Merr.
The alcoholic extract of Entada phaseolcides (Linn.) Merr. on acid hydrolysis gave sapogenins. The sapogenins on thin layer chromatography gave three spots with Rf 0.18, 0.4 and 0.5.
